I have been in an airplane exactily twice (when it was off the ground at least, and one of thos two times is technicaly four, it was a round trip flight with a connection both ways)

My first flight was when I was 13, I had this huge desire to be a pilot and so for my 13th birthday my parents took me to have an introductory flight lesson. Basicaly they take you up, let you hold the controls (while keeping their hands and feet on them, though this guy really didn't pay much attention as I flew over the city of new orleans) and then land, to get you interested in actualy taking lessons. But it was the coolest thing ever.

Then was the other, commercial flight, not near as cool.
