Yes, I can certainly give them credit for that. I used to get calls from the Marine Corps all the time (we'd never answer because we have Caller ID, or my mom would pick up on accident and I'd happen to not be home, but they'd keep calling.) One time, I picked up the phone without first checking to see that it was the Marines. He started in on me, and I just told him I'm not interested, I know what I'm doing with the rest of my life, thankyougoodbye. And he very nicely said "I'm glad to hear that you've got things all worked out for yourself. Thank you for your time."
I never got another call from the Marines or any other branch of the military, for that matter. They even stopped mailing me stuff.
