A Mu Alpha Theta [the math club that does mathcounts for all you who don't know] member messed up on simple addition-- my friend, who was first, should have had one more point than she did because someone from the club correcting papers mismarked a question wrong. That should have put me in second by one point, only someone added three instead of six when totalling my scores from multiple tests. Adding six! It's not rocket science. I mean, I'd rather have it happen there than in other competitions, but it still makes me indignant.
