I helped the indian, turned the dog back to a man, healed the tree. The ladder broke at the gate on the other side of the volcano.

what I'm stuck on is the drake, how do i defeat it, I'm reading through the boards and read something about hiting the wings. All i am doing is runing around and kicking him in the butt. Am i missing something?
