> Quick rhetorical question. Say you've been stuck with buying all the *food* for 22 people including kids for 3 days in the wild. You're hoping to have bought at least some things that are general crowd-pleasers. But... Once you get there, is there anything you can think of that you SHOULD HAVE brought that you DIDN'T bring? *lol* Well yes, I guess I'm potentially in that situation.

Well... the first thing that comes to mind is bagels and peanut butter (okay, I suppose those are two things, so I should have said "the first two things that come to mind," but I didn't). Whenever we go camping, bagels and peanut butter are the staples. And cheese is good, too, but a lot of people have different preferences. And it's kinda expensive to buy cheese for twenty-two people for three days.

If you have any sort of little cooker, pasta is always a good choice (provided you can spare the water - I'm not sure where you're camping, and there might not be a sufficient water supply to be cooking pasta with).
