I got past the cat and i caught something in the river. I can't get anywhere when I come to the building past the cat. Hint, please?

I have given two gold pieces to the old lady, but she only gives me useless advice. I guess there is more gold somewhere. I have found the gold in the shop and in the garden. Where should I look now??
