Done with MoBH

I've now beaten FQ, FQ2, and MoBH. I realized there wasn't any way to die (or to fail at all) in MoBH, and also that I didn't enjoy playing through it as much. Are any of the other adventure games similar to FQ with all the strange options and ways to fail and such, or are they more like MoBH? And along the same lines, which would you suggest I play?
