I don't think this is true. It's late but I believe I understand what you're saying to be incorrect. If I've been here since day one (remember, only programmers count from zero, and only then when they're coding :P) my share of the messages posted can go up so long as I increase the frequency of my posts with respect to the amount being posted.

For instance, if I've posted one hundred messages out of ten thousand, that's one percent of all posted messages. Now, if I then post like crazy and post four hundred more messages (bringing my total up to 500) by the time the forum is at 15000, that's about 3.33 percent of everything posted. Thus my share has increased. And the reverse is true, if I haven't been here from day one but slow down my frequency with respect to the total number of posts then my share will drop.

Unless of course you mean something different and I'm just being stupid.
