Judging from your inventory, you're a passcard short of what you need. You will find something that will help with this problem if you go deep into the sandstone caverns (be ready for a second round of cart-riding!). Retrieving this item will also put you on track to get the last nanoxite stone.

You should also track down that miner whom you rescued. He will want to return your favor.

The rubber tubes are back on the Corolis. You will need bug spray (or an equivalent thereof) for one, and the other one is found late in the game.

As for the cat, there is a place where you can get hold of her -- but you have to do something first in order for that to work. Do you remember meeting anyone who had trouble hearing?
