hey guys, I feel like I'm missing something that's totally staring me in the face, but I seem to be stuck. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

Inventory:

17 Onions
2 Tree Branches
Sack
Small Silver Coin
Silver Key
Float Ring
Sap Tap
Bucket of Sap
Fishing Net
Coconut
Blue Rubber Ball
Iron Support

I think I've given the soothsayer four gold coins, somewhere in that vicinity. I killed the cyclops, but can't figure out how to get by the vampiress. I know I need to make a cross with the tree branches, but I can't get that darn nail out of the tree, and...yeah. Thanks in advance...
