no real help here. it's been too long ago for me to remember, although I'm pretty sure you don't have to climb the furniture.
could you send a list of your options ? might jog my memory....
wait, I just noticed, you don't have the hook, right ?
you need to go back to the garden & search the area, thoroughly. then trade what you find at the general store. hope this helps !!
