I took a ride through the Smokies yesterday. The leaves haven't changed much, but they are beginning. I went by one of the waterfalls that I usually check out, and it was running better than I've seen in years. Waterfalls change with the weather. Sometimes they are a torrent and sometimes a trickle. I really like Akaka Falls on Hawaii. Over 400 feet high! Another of my favorites is Fall Creek Falls near Spencer, Tennessee. And I've seen the moonbow at Cumberland Falls, Kentucky. For scenery, it's hard to beat a waterfall. Niagra and Yellowstone Falls are really breath-taking. Many of the great photos of Hawiian waterfalls were made by a photographer named William Waterfall. I didn't make that up. Look him up. His photos are really great. Howard
