> I read that Gillian Anderson was indeed in talks with Lucasfilm for a part in Episode II as a female jedi. I believe that's great, but talks aren't necessary. If there was ever a person that belonged in the Star Wars universe it is her.

Without warning five dark jedi drop out of the trees and surround her. the area is dark and poorly lit on account of the trees. The dark jedi's faces are hidden. The camera slowly pans around Gillian as she calmly assesses the situation. As each dark jedi is revealed by the panning camera, he ignites his sabre. They are all red. Suddenly the all rush at her. In one smooth motion Gillian pushes aside her cloak and pulls out a yellow double sided saber. Both side ignite instantaneously and she proceeds to block each attack as she moves herself out of the fray. She stands ten feet from the four remaining jedi. None of her foes show the slightest concern at their fallen comrade. They rush her again. In a display worthy of any gymnast, she does a forward flip over them and separates her double sided sabre into two separate weapons. The enemies wheel around and run at her again. With incredible skill and unnerving calm Gillian goes through an incredibly choreographed battle, blocking and striking. Her footwork is like that of a dancer. She separates herself once more. Two dark jedi remain. The run towards her. She blocks and thrusts, and kicks one with such force that he's thrown out of view. She puts one of her sabres calmly through the others chest. He falls. Gillian reattaches her sabres into one again, and connecting it to her belt, pulls her cloak across it. She walks towards the remaining dark jedi. He is lying several feet from his own weapon, he is stunned. He is brought back to reality when he sees her walking towards him. he makes a quick grab for his sabre, but with a flick of her wrist, Gillian throws the weapon into the surrounding shrubbery. The dark jedi is defeated. She grabs him by the collar and picks him up.

Now, I know how Darien feels when he sees certain subjects by Chris and knows he has to take a deep breath before reading them. I felt the same way when I saw Gillian in the subject of a post written by Byron. And boy am I glad I took that breath. hehe. :)
