I love October too. Winter is effectively over and done with, daylight savings starts, and you start getting your first really amazing summer days and long sunny evenings. Halloween barely exists here, but we get Guy Fawkes Night which is a good excuse to have fireworks down on the beach to start off the BBQ season.
