I collect Transformers action figures and keychains. Neither collection is terribly huge, nor do I collect them ardently, but once in awhile I'll get my hands on something cheap and cool, and into the collection it goes. My keychain collection is pretty sloppy -- it's just a big wad of interlinked metal and plastic. You really can't even tell what it is at first glance. My Transformers collection is tiny, consisting of mainly old-school figures, most of which are missing something or another. Weapons are the first to get lost, followed by removable body parts. I have one of those old (supposedly rare, I dunno) Optimus Primes but he's missing a gun and a hand. I just like to play with the Transformers... Collecting just for the sake of collecting never really appealed to me, and I can't keep my hands off the stuff once it enters my collection.
