You say "obvious". Really, most of the puzzles are obvious after you do them. But until then, they sure are hard. I think Sam and Gremlin write them just to remind us how stupid we are compared to them! :)
Well, about Pheicryn: There are three blows that you need to deliver to her: whack her with your hands, throw the stone at her, and hit her with the chain. When you hit with the chain, she will fall in the murder hole. Hit her a couple of times, then kick her to knock her outside.
Don't worry, you're almost to the end!
