Not a bad idea. Perhaps it could even be a competitive team sport. In fact, I think I know some people already who appear to be into competitive deploring.

More seriously, this could be a very funny RinkWorks addition. Many web sites already have a "Rants" page, and it makes sense for the RinkWorks equivalent to have a somewhat more literate title, like "Deplorings" (although it's not really a legitimate noun). Maybe it belongs in the "Slapdash City" domain, which is already devoted to spoofing Internet home pages.

Regardless of placement on the site, there must be some way to set up a humorous standard "deploring" form, with multiple-choice questions and stock phrases, to be filled out by readers who "wish to register a complaint" about whatever societal ills are bothering them at the moment. It shouldn't simply copy other standardized complaint forms that are out there on the 'Net, though; there must be a way to make it a distinctly RinkWorkian production. Right now, unfortunately, I'm out of ideas beyond the "Deplorings" one.

Iss "'Ello, I wish to complain about this parrot wot I purchased not 'alf an hour ago, from this very boutique!" achar
