Perils, and Trail being the most recent two, and the only reason that Fantasy Quest 2 is north of them, is because Fantasy Qest 1 acme out first, and as a sequel, it was placed after that one to look pretty. > > > > Rift "Borderline OCD" Traveler > > Really? Just a whim on Sam's part?
It makes sense if you prioritize the grouping by the following four rules: (1) All games by the same author should be grouped together. (2) Within author groupings, the sequel to a game should appear immediately after it. [POAT is not truly a sequel to OAT, so this doesn't apply] (3) The rest of the ordering in the author grouping is determined by release date. (4) The order of the authors is determined by the date of release of the first of their games.
All that said, I'm pretty sure there were no fixed "rules" that were followed (well, maybe rules 1 and 2 were).
Also, not counting the Trainer, the games are in alphabetical order now. This was just a funny coincidence.
