There's one other thing to find in the garden. You'll be able to trade that item in for something practical. Watch out for lions when you're looking, though. You might also have to make a new pathway for this.

It also looks like you need to do a little more exploring in the forest. Maybe the caves as well. You have something that someone deep in the forest will really appreciate -- and you will be on your way to the white tower.
