I like Steve and Eddie, but had no intention on seeing this movie until after I read Ebert's review. I'm glad I saw it -- Eddie Murphy does a wonderful performance as Jiff, the Kit Ramsey stand-in. There were several great scenes in the movie -- the sequence Ebert doesn't want to reveal in his review had the audience nearly falling out of thier seats. It starts off slowly and doesn't really gel until the filming of the movie is underway.

I spent full price on it and enjoyed myself. Lance doesn't think _Bowfinger_ was worth anything. Compromise -- go see it at matinee prices.
