Fantasy Quest help

OK, I'm very stuck. I feel like I've done everything 10 times. Here is what I'm carrying:

You're Carrying:
Sack
Rope
Hook
Branch
Silver Key
Gold Key
Sword
Shovel
Scroll
Hammer
Nails
Bow
Arrow
Fishing Pole
Club
Ticket
Pass Ring
Sunstone

My biggest problem right now is not being able to get into the tower by the volcano. I say Tootle Cakes and get up to the drawbridge, but nothing I do let's me open it. Also, I don't know how to help the sickly gnome in the Enchanted Forest.

I also have some questions about different parts of the game that don't seem to make sense. Is there a point to that tower in the middle of the tangled bushes? I go in there and do everything it says, but there's nothing to do or take. I just end up leaving. Is there a use for the tractor in the garage on the farm? Can I get any of the strange boxes from the garage? I am I supposed to be able to do something about the cat in the garden? When will the bunny come and help me?

Any help I can get would be great. I'm going crazy!
