FQ2 vampiress - completely stumped

I can't get by the vampiress. I've read hints, which suggest something to do with the hairbrush (i think) but I gave that to the mermaid. I even started the game over and went to the vampiress first, with both mirror and brush, but there was no option to use them.

Here's what I have:
19 Onions
Small Silver Coin
Sap Tap
Coconut
Iron Support
2 Tree Branches
Silver Key
Bucket of Sap
Huge Ladder
Sack
Float Ring
Roc Feather
Blue Rubber Ball
