Have you checked the royal gardens yet? They're easier to reach this time. There are a couple of things you can get there, and a couple of actions that you can do -- you won't be getting to the clown's nose for a while. And the roc feather is a bit later too.

If you remember where the hut was in the first game, it's still in the same place in the sequel -- search around a bit in there.

But the royal gardens are the main place to go.

Oh, and you might want to look around a bit more near the dwarf's place.
