The Wiggles are a group from Austrailia. They sing and dance children's songs. And while I really enjoy their music almost as much as the children (especially "Captain Feathersword Fell Asleep On His Pirate Ship") our 2 year old is infatuated with them. We bought a video about a month ago and she watches it 3-4 times a day... *every* day. We have the entire tape practically memorized and I even find myself singing the songs on the way to work... when I'm alone... and don't really *need* to be singing them. And to make matters worse I had the bright idea to make a CD of the songs from the video, so now we get to listen to it in the car too.
Parents, if you have never heard (or heard of) the Wiggles, they are very good. They cater to ages 5 and under mostly and in between the singing and dancing they have short little skits that all have a moral/lesson to be learned. And the same theme is carried throughout the whole video. But if you do brave a purchase, be prepared to be inundated with requests to watch it, and the tunes are so catchy you too will be humming them for days.
Grishney, yours should be at just the right age to completely enjoy the wiggles. If you watch Playhouse Disney in the mornings, you already know what I'm talking about.
