Then there was this other time someone immigrated to America because his prior government was an oppressive one! OBVIOUSLY HIS MOTIVES ARE SUSPECT!

P.S.: In all seriousness, if you are still around, which I doubt, you might consider the possibility that the greatest offense of racism and inhumanity is being committed by yourself. I don't doubt that there are some Australian immigrants that do not love Australia and even some who commit hate crimes and other sorts of atrocities. I also don't down that there are native Australians that commit the same offenses. And I guarantee you the criminals are a minority among both groups.

You've got two choices. You can be supportive of the good ones, or you can take the easy way out and be antagonistic toward the whole lot of immigrants, good and bad, while, in the meantime, providing the bad ones with a legitimate reason for their prejudices. You seem to have made this latter choice. That makes you responsible for the very ethnic tensions you are complaining about.

Frankly, if I immigrated to a nation whose people think like you do, I wouldn't care about it either. Fortunately, unlike you, I don't make assumptions about entire classes of people based on the actions of one or two conspicuous representatives, such as yourself.
