Once I run out of my free rental coupons, I'll probably rent using NetFlix -- order a movie on Wednesday, get it in the mail on Friday, drop it off in the mail on Monday when I'm done (in a pre-paid mailer, no less!).

Wooow... city life. I've never gone to anything but the local non-chain, non-franchized video store. Movies had always been $3 [except movies under an hour-- those were only a buck!] and you could only rent them for one night. Actually, I think there might be a special deal for, like, a buck or two a day if you want to keep them longer. Not sure on that one. New releases were the same price as everything else. There are no obscure or older movies. Recently, our neighborhood grocery store [if you can call it that] was bought out by a chain and they rented out movies. I think they did before, but I never payed any attention. Classics are only 69 cents, new releases a dollar. This was amazing to me. Of course, they have about three movies. Total, not copies of each. So my family always coughs up the three dollars, and it's a pleasure to have the option. :-)
