I was ok at it before, but now, I just can seem to do it. But I guess that it doesn't help when my mom is telling me how to do it as I'm doing it and it doesn't work. > > I don't know what road tests consist of in other states/countries, but in New York state, it consists of driving in city traffic, 3-point turn (k-turn), and parallel parking. Basically, if I can't parallel park, I have to be perfect on everything else just to pass. Can anyone give me some tips on parallel parking? It seems that everything I try doesn't work. I've tried what my Driver's Ed book said. I've tried what my mom says and I've tried what the NYS Driver Manual says and none of them work. It really is getting me so upset that it is giving me a head ache.
HOORAY!! I finally figured out how to parallel park! After months of trying to figure it out, I figured out my problem. I was turning too sharply to the right when I first started out which screwed me up entirely. Thanks all for your advice. It actually did help me out a lot. Now, just for the road test...
