My favorite Family Feud story goes like this:
Dawson: "Name a question like 'how old are you?' that--"
Contestant on Family #2: *buzzing in* "Eighteen."
Dawson: (turning to the board) "Eighteen!"
*BUZZ!*
Right in here there is chit-chat with the contestant that gave the wrong answer -- in all fairness, Dawson hadn't yet finished the question -- and the contestant said something about being 18, or being nearly 18, or whatever. Anyway, Dawson turns to the contestant for Family #1, an older woman, and reads the question to her.
Dawson: "Name a question like 'how old are you?' that many people will answer with a lie."
Contestant on Family #1: "Fifty."
Dawson: (blinks; doesn't even go through the motions of seeing if that answer's on the board) "Now I'm going to have to give them [Family #2] another chance." (turns to the *next* family member on Family #2) "Name a question like 'how old are you?' that many people will answer with a lie."
Next contestant on Family #2: "Thirty-nine."
