Clarifying what Sosi said: Once a mascot is chosen, it appears on the school logo and is worn as a costume at sports games. (Also, the name of the school team generally has to do with its mascot.)

Oh, and I didn't get a chance to vote on the poll because I didn't get a chance to check RinkWorks while the poll was up, but if I had had a chance to do so, I would have chosen "other".
