You sound a bit depressed good Bourne, I hope that every thing is okay. You have my wishes for your happiness.
On another note, nobody ever starts something and does it well immediately, especially a novel. Start by writing paragraphs, exploring a single scenery, character, or event, and do it for the sole purpose of writing things that you enjoy writing. Afterwards, find a friend of yours (rinky dinks included) and exchange stories, essays, anything. You'll be proud of your venting/writing and love the doing of it before you know it, and that is what it's all about. Euge'writes not so good but can make myself crack up laughing'ne
