The airport hassel has not changed my flying habits very much. I might get there 15 minutes earlier than I used to, and I tend to leave my tiny little pocketknife at home. The biggest change has been in the minimum distance that I fly. It used to be rule of thumb to fly on trips of more than 500 miles, one way, and drive when it's less. That's more like seven or eight hundred now. You can drive a considerable distance toward your destination if you consider the time you would spend driving to the airport, parking the car, waiting at the ticket counter, waiting at security, waiting at the gate, flying, retrieving bags, renting a car and driving to where ever you were going. You save on airport parking and car rental and maybe a few tips. And I enjoy driving almost as much as flying. Howard
