I believe that's right - one of my best friend's last name is Tobin and she's Jewish.

As for misspellings...you have no idea how many times people have misspelled my name (I could give you a list of all sorts of different ways people can muddle up the name 'Julia' in their minds). And the fact I have a hard-to-spell, hard-to-pronounce German last name does not help.
