Okay, I went through a quick run of three-word anagrams that contain gee and do not contain sage. These are my results:
GEE HAMATE FOGS
GEE SAFE GOTHAM
GEE AGE FATHOMS
GEE EGA FATHOMS
GEE OHMAGE FAST
GEE OHMAGE FATS
GEE HOMAGE FAST
GEE HOMAGE FATS
GEE HOMAGES AFT
GEE HOMAGES FAT
GEE OMEGA SHAFT
GEE AGES FATHOM
GEE EGAS FATHOM

I believe that the one that makes the most sense is GEE OMEGA SHAFT. Is this the correct anagram? If it is I believe the secret area would have something to do with a "last shaft" or an "end shaft". This furthers my hypothesis that the secret area is located somewhere in the chasm, perhaps the bottom tunnel, hence the "last shaft". If I am absolutely wrong, somebody please tell me. Is GEE OMEGA SHAFT the correct anagram? Is the correct anagram even on the list?
