You have a gate?? You can take a gate with you in your inventory? Ugh, I'm tired...
It would REALLY help to see your inventory, because you're not being too specific. Where is this gate - Larosis? the Sage's world? What are you carrying, so I know what you need to get??
You mean the gate past the marble plates? If you do mean that one: go back to your village and buy something that could be used to CLIP the WIRE of the gate. If you don't have enough money for it, go back to Larosis and talk to Marion. Is there anything that you haven't sold her yet? Don't take no for an answer, even if it takes you thirty tries.
Please post your inventory next time, you'll be able to get a hint quicker that way. :)
