It is a couple of astronauts standing on the moon and looking back at the Earth, which, in this instance is coin shaped, with Continents on both sides wrapping around the edge. (Which isn't serrated, BTW)

The astronauts are saying, "Er, Houston, we're not quite sure how to tell you this, but..."

I seem to think it was a Far Side cartoon, but I can't find it to verify, anyone know for sure?
