Perhaps you are right, here. Sometimes Canadians see Americans as too dominant (they are), and that American business is trying to scour the northland of all its natural resources (it is). All in all, though, I think that many Canadians don't like Americans because dislike of Americans is the only Canadian identity they have. Sad really. Americans are nice. I like them. They go good with a rich B.B.Q. sauce.
