No phone line?!! That's awful. This is the 21st Century and we should have worldwide, instant communications from anywhere to anywhere. I can't believe that such a thing exists in Scotland. If you are in Glasgow, Kentucky, I might believe it, but in Kentucky they still call a flat an "apartment."
