Well, yes. It happened to me in my early teens, early 20's, early 30's, early 40's, early 50's and early 60's. Also late. I can't wait for my early 70's to get here so I can have that experience again. It has nothing to do with being unhappy with my present location. I think it is in my genes, because I come from a big family of wanderlusters. My great uncle William Alfonso Murrill, PhD, who was at one time the world's foremost expert on mushrooms, wandered several continents in search of unknown saprophites. That was about 100 years ago. My grandpa was a circuit riding preacher. My big sister has covered the world from Greece and Egypt to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. My little sister has covered Europe from end to end. The result of all this family wanderlusting is that we are now scattered from California to Iceland. Personally, I have wandered through all 50 states, Canada, Guatamala, Mexico, and countless islands including the British Isles. I am currently looking at trips to Panama and Scotland. And I don't think I'm a bit unusual. So if you have an attack of wanderlust, remember, you are not alone. Howard
