A few days ago, I switched my Junk Mail Filter to High to try and block that extraordinarily annoying "University Degrees For Free" mailing arriving every single day. Today, however, I look in my inbox and what do I find? > > > > In the Junk Mail folder, ten messages, all from a group of friends. > > > > In the Inbox folder, one email. > > > > Offering me a free university degree. > > > > Well may I say GAAAAH. > > > > Si-"Might as well give it up"-gi > > Don't put it on high. Put it on low. That's what I did. All my friends and stuff go to my inbox and spam goes to my junkmail.
Also, there should be an Address Book feature with your Hotmail account. You can save all your friends' e-mail addresses on it, so if they send you anything, it will recognize the address and stick the message in your Inbox.
It's also useful if you can't recall your friends' e-mail addresses from memory.
