At my family reunion, I saw a cousin running around at the park and noticed he was leaving these wonderful little Spiderman stamps in the dirt because of his shoes. I asked to see his shoes and was thoroughly impressed and envious. We discussed Spiderman for a while until his mom came up and heard us, then rolled her eyes. I guess I gave her an odd look because she said, "I'm trying to not encourage the Spiderman obsession." I asked why and she told me that the boy had been trying to get spiders to bite him ever since he saw the movie.

Apparently, his friends were doing this also. Oops...widespread spiderbite epidemic??
