Well, I read somewhere that the American censors ran for the hills at the slightest mention of sex or drugs, and the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) didn't care too much about that, but did have a major bee in its bonnet about violence. It's true, as well. Shagging is fine, but being hit in a vaguely cartoony manner? THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

Well, mebbe not that bad, but you get the point.

Seems they should take half the American censors, half the BBFC, standardise the ratings and produce identical versions both sides. Ob-la-di, ob-di-la.
