Having driven in all 50 states, and having driven extensively in California, Nevada and Arizona, I find it hard to believe that anyone could be bored in those areas. Deserts and mountains there are places of breath-taking beauty. In fact, I have never been bored traveling, except maybe at night when there is little to see but headlights and taillights. Even when traveling by air, there is always something to see, if you are near a window. I could write a book about beautiful sights I have seen while traveling. (Don't worry. I'm not going to do it.)
