This is my review....shouldn't be a spoiler.....
This movie was good, but it didn't really have me until the end. I know you should go see movies for the entertainment, but my movie-freaked mind can't help but look a little deeper. But this is only my opinion, you'll have to judge the movie for yourself.
The biggest problem for me was of course the star, Bruce Willis. I don't want to be harsh, I have not been to acting school, but I really hate the way he acts. He has yet to play a character in a way that I like. Don't get me wrong, the character in the movie was good, but it could've been so much better if they'd picked an 'actor'.
Anyway, another problem was with the lighting in the movie. I hate when scenes are so dark that you have a hard time focusing on them. I don't think it added to the movie for it to look like the lights were all off. I know they could've done a better job with lighting.
My final complaint, is just the slowness of the movie. I'm not saying that I didn't like the timing of all the scenes, just the general 'numbness' of the speech. Every word spoken seemed to take an eternity. (Of course a lot of this leads back to my thing against Bruce Willis.)
BUT...(now for the good parts) I did like this movie overall. The ending was just as good as Stephen (see post 5545) predicted it would be. And I am glad I saw it. That's all I'm going to say....don't want to spoil it for Jommeke...hehe. (Or anyone else either).
One last comment, don't go see this if you are going to arrive at home at midnight, and no one will be home, and no lights are on.....I'm speaking straight from experience. It's VERY scary in that situation.
fam "now onto 'the haunting'...this better be as funny as stephen said" ous
