If I do, it's a piece of paper that I find on my desk. Usually I just open the book and know where I was last reading. And this leads to Weird Ellmyruh Quirk #487: I hate creasing the spines of paperback books. Even though I've read most of my paperbacks multiple times, most of their spines are in perfect condition. > > Ell"Clear Post-Its are the best things EVAR"myruh
I just fold over the top corner a little bit. Works for me fine; I tend to lose bookmarks easily, and any small pieces of paper that I use end up shredded (because I'm weird, don't ask ;)). The cool thing is that you can't really tell there was a fold with most of my books. I take good care of them.
