Grish - a lot of people erroneously interpret the
"wives, submit to your husbands" thing as
meaning "wives, do everything your husbands
say" or something in a similar vein. That's not
the case. Also, many people forget that there
are strictures for the husband as well, not just
the wife. Just thought I'd mention that to
forestall objections or misinterpretation.

Good footnote. I certainly don't want anyone to
think I'm the type of guy who thinks, "I'M the
husband, praise God, and you're going to do
what I say!" If anything, I'm prone to the
opposite extreme. I'm not a very assertive
personality, nor am I the "leader type." But
that's no excuse for failing to obey God.
