I was also perplexed by this and did some web searches. Apparently there is a visible backside. I don't really think backsides in moderation corrupt minors (and at one time, others didn't either -- "Planet of the Apes" was rated G in 1968 and yet had exposed backsides), but in a Scooby-Doo movie, that does indeed seem truly bizarre.
