The Bourne Identity -

I absolutely love the three books the Robert Ludlum wrote - the amnesia/assassin plot is convoluted and difficult to follow, the hero of the tale spends most of the first book unconscious or heavily injured, and the dialogue makes you wonder if George Lucas had a hand in ghostwriting the trilogy. But it's still class. Totally OTT, ultra-violent, it rattles along at a breakneck pace and can easily fill the hours spent waiting in an airport.

I'm not sure what to make of the trailer though - there *is* a good wallop of Wing Chun/Kali hand to hand stuff (which I like), and some solo climbing on the outside of a building (also good), so the eye-candy rating is high. A big down point may be how much they've had to cut from the book. The tv movie version (which I own, and runs very close to the original material) had a total running time of four and a half hours.

Another big downer might be Matt Damon but that remains to be seen...

Crocodile Hunter -

I *really* want to see this movie, if only because I can't get enough of Steve Irwin's madness. Like the time he partially dismantled his car engine before thrusting his hand blindly into the works to get at a snake he saw climbing in there, with the immortal words, "from what I saw, this may be one of the most poisonous snakes known to man." Genius.
