Grandson of Geek Slips

First of all, for those unacquainted with the term, go back to Forum #1 and do a search for "geek slips".
And now, my own contributions to the topic:
- Lately, I've been rediscovering some of the old computers of my childhood via the magic of emulation. (Those of you who haven't heard of the MESS emulator, check out mess.org; it's pretty nifty.) Anyway, while fiddling around with the BASIC interpreters on these emulated machines, I've discovered that BASIC, unlike C and its descendants, doesn't exactly like it when statements end in a semicolon.
- A lot of buildings on my university's campus, to save space on their signs, abbreviate "building" as "BLDG". I've been spending too much time on the internet, however, and I often misread that abbreviation as "blog".
And, for a not-so-personal anecdote-- well, the punchline of today's FoxTrot comic most definitely qualifies as a geek slip.
