Thanks for all the replies -- this was a pretty stupid post of mine, since when I think about it, I don't really even *want* to socialise with any of the people I work with. It's just unfortunate that they're currently the only people available, and not having anything in common with any of them sometimes makes life feel more difficult than is strictly necessary. Oh well. I'll be able to quit the job some time in the second half of the year, and then I can get a job that allows me to get out and do other things in the evenings and weekends and maybe make some friends.
