For my part, I liked "Vertigo" better. "Rear Window," "Vertigo" and "North By Northwest" are my picks for Hitch's best films - "Psycho" is, in my estimation, widely overrated. It's a good film, but I didn't find it as effective as the others. Then again, that could be because, as has been said, everyone already knows what happens and all that.
